Sierra7 Wins VA OI&T – SQUIRE

July 1, 2016. The Department of Veterans Affairs awarded Sierra7 the VA OI&T – Software Quality Integration Results and Evaluation (SQUIRE) contract. The SQUIRE program provides independent software code quality checking (SCQC) services to software development projects to improve the quality of software code in VA Healthcare IT systems. Sierra7’s SCQC analysts use automated code assessment tools to analyze and report on diagnosis of security, performance, maintainability, and evolvability. Sierra7 then provides consultative feedback to the assessed programs on how to improve their program performance through improved project management and software development practices.
