Sierra7 to Deliver Mission Critical Enterprise Architecture Services and Solutions to VA
Falls Church, VA – 1 July 2021. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology (OIT) issued Sierra7 a $27M award to deliver Enterprise Architecture Services Support (EASS). Sierra7 will provide technical, programmatic, and change management support to operate and enhance VA’s enterprise architecture through the adoption of innovative technology solutions and business processes..
VA OIT is dedicated to providing high-quality, effective, and efficient information technology (IT) services to deliver world-class benefits and services to Veterans. VA relies on a complex and integrated ecosystem of information technology systems and data to provide healthcare and benefits services to Veterans..
Darrell Heinrichs, Vice President of Operations, who will oversee and support the delivery of the EASS contract said, “The selection of Sierra7 to support VA’s enterprise architecture program is testament to our ability to provide the necessary strategic vision and hands-on tactical support to needed shape the technology infrastructures and data at Veterans Affairs.”
Sierra7 will provide critical support and expertise to advance the VA’s enterprise architecture to support the migration of VA’s infrastructure, systems, and applications to the commercial cloud. Migrating to the commercial cloud will allow VA to conduct business operations and deliver services with speed and consistency from a more secure infrastructure.
