Sierra7 supports the Veterans Affairs – Community Care Network (CCN)

RESTON – Oct 2, 2019. Sierra7, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Reston, VA, has entered a seven year agreement with Optum Public Sector Solutions (“Optum”) to provide staffing support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (CCN) in Region 2 and Region 3. Authorized by the 2018 VA MISSION Act, “the new Veteran Community Care program provides Veterans with a greater choice over their health care, and allows VA to deliver world-class, seamless customer service either through a VA facility or community provider.”

Sierra7 will support Veterans who receive CCN services in 22 states across the Midwest and Southeast US by providing Enrollment & Eligibility coordination, Customer Service / Call Center support, Records Management, Information Technology support, and Patient Safety Peer Reviews. Ms. Laurie Chapman, Sierra7’s Vice President of Operations, said, “Our support to the VA CCN program is indicative of the many healthcare related services available from Sierra7 and provides us even more opportunity to serve our nation’s Veterans.”
