Sierra7 Awarded Contract for the Office of Health Informatics (OHI) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Integration Support by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)
Falls Church, VA – 27 September 2022. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) issued Sierra7, Inc. an award under Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) contract vehicle in support of the Office of Health Informatics (OHI) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Integration. The VHA, OHI, Clinical Informatics and Data Management Office (CIDMO), and OHI EHRM provide informatics subject matter expertise, policy guidance, and strategic recommendations regarding EHRM implementation for VA Healthcare Information Technology (IT) systems. OHI EHRM efforts are led by CIDMO, a major program office supporting four major pillars including program management and operations, field and enterprise engagement, and EHRM Configuration.
Sierra7’s team of highly skilled professionals will deliver robust technical Health Informatics (HI) services to support EHRM activities under OHI. Our data integration support will encompass 23.5 million individual veteran patient records that will help protect patient data integrity, patient safety, and data management resulting in the continuity of care for the Veteran community.
