SEATTLE VAMC MEDICAL CODING CONTRACT AWARDED TO SIERRA7
McLean, VA – 16 Jan 2025. Sierra7, a leader in government consulting and information technology services, is proud to announce its recent contract award to provide medical coding services for the Seattle Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). This task order was awarded under Sierra7’s established Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for medical coding services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
Under this contract, Sierra7 will play a critical role in supporting the Seattle VAMC’s mission to deliver high-quality healthcare to Veterans. The scope of work includes accurately assigning diagnostic and procedural codes for inpatient, outpatient, and surgical care. Leveraging industry-standard coding systems and adhering to rigorous compliance standards, Sierra7 will ensure that all encounters are coded with precision and timeliness.
In addition to core coding responsibilities, Sierra7’s expert team will:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of health record documentation.
- Perform coding audits to uphold accuracy and compliance.
- Address billing discrepancies to support operational efficiency.
- Assist in managing and resolving coding backlogs, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
