Quality Assurance

Our Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is based upon a well-established Quality Management System that is fully compliant with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) defined in the International Standard ISO 9001:2008. The QAP establishes the methods by which we conduct quality assurance activities that concentrate on preventing performance problems through continuous monitoring and evaluation of program-specific processes, products, and services including those produced by our subcontractors.

Quality products and services, and a performance culture, are the foundation of Northrop Grumman’s management principles. This commitment to objective performance demands that our employees, suppliers, and contractors be responsible and accountable for the quality of their work and dedication to continually improving processes, products, and services through the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools embedded in our QAP. Through the use of these tools we continually experience gains in performance and quality thereby reducing waste and improving mission success that ultimately benefits our customers.
